The Southwestern Conference released its Volleyball Athlete of the Week for August 22-26 this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Lauren, an outside hitter, had 15 kills and 14 digs in a win over Elyria, 12 kills, 2 aces and 31 digs in at loss to Avon Lake and 7 kills, 6 aces and 12 digs in a win over North Olmsted.
Other Notable Performances
Stephanie Smith (Junior), Avon Lake
Stephanie, an outside hitter, posted 53 kills in 113 attempts (.389) to go along with 32 digs, 4 block assists and 6 aces over the team’s first three matches.
Adalynn Ginley (Senior), North Ridgeville
Adalynn, a middle blocker, posted 17 Kills and 19 Blocks in matches against Amherst, Olmsted Falls and Normandy last week.
