Elyria won the 2021-22 Southwestern Conference Wrestling Championship title on Saturday with a team score of 154.5. Elyria claimed five individual titles from Kaiyon McKinney (113), Peyton Fenton (120), Nate Burnett (138), Connor Holm (144) and Izzak Pedraza (150).
By virtue of winning the regular season and going undefeated in conference duals, Elyria won the title outright for the 2021-22 season.
Avon Lake finished in second place with 135.0 points, followed by third-place Avon with 116.0. Midview finished in fourth place with 106.0 points and North Ridgeville rounded out the top five with 92.0 team points.
