Following matches on December 6th – December 12th the boys and girls bowlers of the week for the Southwestern Conference were announced this afternoon. Below are this week’s honorees:
Female Bowler of the Week
Allison Taylor (So)
Amherst Steele
Taylor finished fourth at the Eagle Challenge on Sunday with a 539 series. The sophomore helped the Comets stay undefeated in league play with series of 394 (222/172) and 429 (194/235) this week.
Male Bowler of the Week
Ben Scheeff (Jr)
Olmsted Falls
Scheeff rolled a 659 series and finished second on the All-Tournament team at the Eagle Challenge Sunday.
Other Notable Performances
JP Gregory (Jr), Amherst Steele
Gregory rolled a 413 series (205/208) and a 473 series (235/238) this past week for the Comets.
Collin Ellis (Sr), Berea-Midpark
Against North Olmsted, Ellis rolled an opening game of 180 before starting his second game with ten consecutive strikes to finish with a 289, giving him the high game for the league this season.
