The Avon boys soccer team earned the Southwestern Conference crown on Wednesday, defeating Amherst Steele 1-0, to claim their second consecutive title and third overall (2018).
The Eagles finish the conference slate of games with a record of 6-0-1. Their play has earned them the No. 2 seed in the Division 1 Northeast District Tournament where they will host the winner of Copley and Akron Firestone on October 23rd.
