Following volleyball games on September 27th – October 3rd the volleyball player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Anderson recorded her 1,000 career dig in a three set win over Berea-Midpark on Thursday night where she had a total of 18 digs in the contest. The senior had another 20 digs in a five set loss to Avon Lake earlier in the week.

Stephanie Smith (So), Avon Lake
On the week, Smith had 33 kills (.417 kill %), six blocks and eight digs from her outside hitter position for the Shoregals.
