Following meets on September 20th – September 26th the boys and girls cross country runners of the week for the Southwestern Conference were announced this afternoon. Below are this week’s honorees:
Female Cross Country Runner of the Week
Madelyn Palcic (S0)
North Ridgeville
Competing at the Patriot Invitational hosted by Valley Forge, Palcic finished first with her time of 19:34.0. The sophomore posted an average mile time of 6:19/mile.
Male Cross Country Runner of the Week
Thomas Coble (Sr)
Berea-Midpark
Coble won his second meet of the year this past weekend, taking first at the Patriot Invitational. The senior crossed the finish line in 16:22.8, 20 seconds before the next runner.
