Following football games on September 10th the football player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Dom Farago (Sr)
North Ridgeville
Senior running back Dom Farago found the end zone four times while rushing for 165 yards on Friday night, as the Rangers defeated Amherst Steele in the opening week of SWC play.
Other Notable Performances
Tim Cornwell (Sr), Avon
In the clash between Avon and Avon Lake, Cornwell paced the Eagles with eight receptions for 98 yards and found the endzone three times.
Matthew Stuewe (Jr), Avon Lake
With five receptions for 111 yards on Friday, Stuewe helped the Shoremen remain undefeated by scoring twice in Avon Lake’s victory over rival Avon.
