Following games on May 3rd – May 9th, the softball player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Cornwell hit .571 for the Comets to help them go 3-0 on the week. The senior scored six runs while driving in six runs, including a grand slam in her only at bat against Westlake.
