Following games on April 5th – April 11th, the baseball player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Dylan Bailey (Sr)
Amherst Steele
Bailey was 9 of 12 from the plate last week, with three doubles, a home run, nine runs batted in and six runs scored to help the Comets get to a 7-1 start for the year.
Other Notable Performances
Gavin Padgett (So), North Ridgeville
The sophomore center fielder had a .471 average for the week with two doubles, a triple, four runs batted in, six runs scored and two stolen bases. Padgett also went 2-0 pitching on the week with wins over Midview (5IP, 0R, 6K) and Columbia (4IP, 3R, 6K).
Ryan Feskanich (Sr), Olmsted Falls
In his start against Westlake, Feskanich went six innings deep, only allowing one run and two hits, while striking out 11 batters.
