Following contests on March 22nd-28th, lacrosse players of the week for the Southwestern Conference were announced this afternoon. Below are this week’s honorees:
Female Lacrosse Player of the Week
Katie Beatty (Jr)
Avon
In three games last week, Beatty scored 18 goals and dished out five assists while collecting 28 ground balls to help the remain undefeated on the spring.
Other Notable Performances
Grace Hansen (Sr), Westlake
The Demon senior scored eight goals on the week and recorded four assists to kick start Westlake’s season.
Male Lacrosse Player of the Week
Evan Barton (Sr)
Avon
Barton racked up five goals and two assists on the week, including a four goal game against Mentor High School.
