Berea-Midpark Wins First Southwestern Conference Gymnastics Championship

The Berea-Midpark Titans won their first SWC gymnastics championship Sunday at the Summit County Fairgrounds.

The Titans tallied 140.850 points en route to the team title, followed by Olmsted Falls in second place with 136.700. Westlake finished in third with 134.400 points, Avon Lake placed fourth with 133.800, North Olmsted rounded out the top five with 132.950.

Berea-Midpark’s Brooklyn Varga earned the all-around title with a high score of 36.250, followed in second by North Olmsted’s Emma Nolan with a 36.200 and Carley Abbott from Olmsted Falls finished third with her score of 35.300.
