Following gymnastic meets on January 11th-17th, the gymnast of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Avon
The junior from Avon won the beam on Wednesday evening as the Eagles competed against Lakewood.
Other Notable Performances
Finley Devins (Fr), Berea-Midpark
Devins had a personal best 9.15 on the floor at Buckeye and contributed to the winning team score in all three events she competed in. She finished the night third on floor and fifth on beam.
Emma Spriggs (Sr), North Olmsted
Spriggs returned to competition for the Eagles after spending a year and a half away from the sport recovering from an achilles tendon tear and surgery.
