Olmsted Falls Earns Weekly Girls Basketball Player of the Week Award

Following games on January 11th-17th, the girls basketball player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

Helping the Bulldogs go 3-0 on the week, sophomore Paige Kohler averaged 17 points per game, including a tremendous 30 point performance against Avon, while also bringing in 5.5 rebounds per game and having an assist to turnover ratio of 3:1.

Other notable performances

Abby Liber (Jr), Avon
Liber helped the Eagles over Amherst Steele last week with her 20 points and eight rebounds.  The junior also recorded two assists and two steals in the victory.

Jenna Bycznski (Jr), Berea-Midpark
Bycznski had a big night at the rim for the Titans in their win over Midview, as the junior forward scored 19 points and brought down 11 rebounds for Berea-Midpark.

Grace Kingery (Fr), North Ridgeville
Freshman Grace Kingery tied a North Ridgeville school record last week when she made six three pointers for the Rangers on her way to 26 points, six rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
