Following hockey games on January 11th-17th, the hockey player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

The senior goalie stopped 69 of 72 shots on goal on the week, including 30 in the SWC Championship Game against Avon. The performance on the week helped the Comets go 3-0 on the week, and another SWC hockey title.
Notable Performances
Ben Boka (Jr), Avon
The junior goalie stopped 42 of 44 shots during Avon’s two games in the SWC tournament, helping the Eagles to a runner-up finish.
