Olmsted Falls Earns Weekly Girls Basketball Player of the Week Award

Following games on January 4th-10th, the girls basketball player of the week for the Southwestern Conference was announced this afternoon. Below is this week’s honoree:

In three victories on the week (Brush, Midview, North Olmsted), the senior guard averaged 14 points per game while shooting 80% from the field and 33% from beyond the arc.  Galaska also averaged seven rebounds and three steals during that stretch of time.

Other notable performances

Lindsey Seballos (Sr), Berea-Midpark
Seballos had the hot hand Wendesday when the senior guard scored a career high 23 points against Brunswick.  Seballos drilled a season high five three pointers on way to the Titans’ 54-42 victory.

Mady Rosado (Sr), North Ridgeville
Rosado dropped 22 points on 9 of 16 shooting while grabbing five rebounds and recording four steals in the Rangers game against Avon last week.
