Following swim meets on December 14th-20th swimmers and divers of the week for the Southwestern Conference were announced this afternoon. Below are this week’s honorees:
Female Swimmer/Diver of the Week
Sierra Dorobek (So)
Amherst Steele
Dorobek finished first in both of her individual events (200 IM, 100 Breaststroke) and was a member of both A relay teams against Avon Lake.

Madison Groppe (Sr), North Ridgeville
The senior swimmer set a new school record for the Rangers in their meet against Avon.
Male Swimmer/Diver of the Week
Joe Swain (So)
Avon Lake
Due to rescheduling, the Avon Lake Shoremen had two meets in a 14 hour span. Swain competed in the 500m freestyle both days. On Saturday against Amherst Steele, Swain swam the 500 in 4:58. On Sunday morning against the Rangers of North Ridgeville, Swain finished the 500m race in 5:01.

Watt set two North Ridgeville High School records (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle) in their meet against Avon this week.
