For a fifth-straight year, the Avon Eagles have claimed the Southwestern Conference Volleyball Championship Title after an exciting three-set victory over Amherst Steele (25-23, 25-10, 25-20).
Avon finished the conference portion of their schedule with a mark of 15-1. Olmsted Falls finished right behind the Eagles with a record of 14-2.
Avon earned the No. 2 seed in the OHSAA District Tournament and will host the winner of North Olmsted and Lakewood on Thursday October 22nd at 6 pm.
