Olmsted Falls earned the Southwestern Conference Girls Golf Preview title at Springvale Golf Course in North Olmsted, after shooting a round of 347 as a team. The Eagles of Avon also finished their round with 347, but the Bulldogs claimed the Preview based off their fifth score tie breaker.
Avon finished in second place, Avon lake took third, scoring 358 and Berea-Midpark rounds out the top-four carding a 368.
Olmsted Falls’ Alyson Veverka earned medalist honors after finishing the 18-hole preview with a score of 74 (+2).
Avon’s Aubrie Rush finished second (+3; 75), followed by teammate Ainsley Gilcrest (+10; 82) at third, Avon Lake’s Lauren Hawkenson ended in fourth place (+13, 85), while Maggie Masterson of Avon Lake and Berea-Midpark’s Samantha Parker finished in a fifth-place tie (+15; 87).
The Southwestern Conference Championship will be held on Wednesday September 30 on the Legacy Golf Course at Sweetbriar. Tee time is set for 8:00 a.m.
