Congratulations to Midview’s Competition Cheer Team and North Olmsted’s Braden Martens for being named this week’s Southwestern Conference Player of the Week honorees!
Midview – Competition Cheer Team – The Middies Game Day squad captured third place in Medium Non-Building Division and its traditional Competition squad finished in 8th place in the Small Varsity Non-Building Division at UCA Nationals this past weekend. The event took place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Disney.
North Olmsted – Braden Martens (So) Swimming and Diving – Eagles sophomore swimmer placed 2nd overall in the SWC conference for the boys’s 500 yard freestyle (5:11.31) 5th overall in the boys 200 yard IM. Martens qualified for the district swim meet in three events: 500 freestyle, medley relay, and the 400 free relay.
