Avon Lake secured the 2019 Southwestern Conference Boys Cross Country Championship, tallying 57 points while seeing all five of its runners finish in the top 25 at Lorain County Community College in Elyria.
Lakewood senior Cormac Peppard-Kramer earned the individual Big Ten Championship, completing the 5K race in 16:42.4, nearly 11 seconds ahead of Avon Lake’s Ryan Keller and almost 25 seconds clear of fellow senior teammate Patrick McCallum.
