Congratulations to North Ridgeville’s Veronica Waugaman and Avon’ s Ryan Starr for being named this week’s Southwestern Conference Player of the Week honorees!
Veronica Waugaman (Fr) North Ridgeville – Track and Field – The freshman set a personal record in the pole vault, clearing 9 feet at the Nordonia Invitational. She then placed sixth overall at the Lorain County Invitational.
Ryan Starr (So) Avon – Baseball – Starr threw six innings, striking out four and allowing only one hit in the Eagles victory over Westlake.
