Congratulations to North Ridgeville’s Katie Barnhart and Olmsted Falls’ Adam Yako for being named this week’s Southwestern Conference Player of the Week honorees!
Katie Barnhart (Fr) North Ridgeville – Softball – The freshman threw a complete game shutout against Berea-Midpark, striking out eleven and surrendering only two hits.
Adam Yako (Sr) Olmsted Falls – Baseball – The senior captain threw a complete game victory over Avon, striking out 11 and walking none. On the week he was 5 of 11 from the plate with seven RBI, and a home run.
