Midview High School’s storied Kubuski Gymnasium will be the site of the 2019 Southwestern Conference Wrestling Championships. The two-day event will feature a Junior Varsity Tournament on Friday, February 15, and a Varsity Tournament on Saturday, February 16.
Host Midview is the returning SWC Champion after winning both the 2018 regular season and SWC Tournament. Berea-Midpark enters the 2019 Championship with a 9-0 duals record. Avon finished the regular season second with an 8-1 record, while Olmsted Falls was third after finishing 7-2. The overall SWC Champion is calculated by a team’s finish in both the regular season duals and SWC Tournament. Both carry equal weight.
