Congratulations to Avon Lake’s Emma Davies and Olmsted Falls’ Sam Lofton for being named this week’s Southwestern Conference Player of the Week honorees.
Emma Davies – Avon Lake (Sr) Golf – Davies shot a 43, 42 for a total score of 85 in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament to help the Shoregals advance to the OHSAA District Tournament.
Sam Lofton – Olmsted Falls (Sr) Football – The senior co-captain and two-way starter helped the Bulldogs rush for 566 yards and seven touchdowns on Friday. Lofton was the top graded lineman for the Bulldogs three weeks in a row.
