Amherst’s Julianna Gilette and Midview’s Tyler Smith are this weeks Southwestern Conference Player of the Week honorees.
Julianna Gilette – Amherst (Jr) Golf – The junior golfer shot a career low 46 at Sweetbriar last Thursday.
Tyler Smith – Midview (Fr) Football – Smith had 19 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns as well as a 2-point conversion to lead Midview’s freshmen football team to a 28-14 victory over Amherst.
