Westlake’s Emily Fankhauser and Avon Lake’s Jack Mikolich are this week’s Southwestern Conference Player of the Week honorees.
Emily Fankhauser – Westlake (Sr) Golf – Fankhauser helped the Lady Demons go 3-0 on the week. The senior posted a 42 against Rocky River, 43 against Saint Joes and a 37 against Amherst to earn medalist honors.
Jack Mikolich – Avon Lake (Sr) Football – Football – The senior quarterback was 16 of 27 for 230 yards passing and three touchdowns. He also ran for 18 yards and a score.
