The Southwestern Conference released its Baseball Athlete of the Week for April 15-21 this evening. Below is this week’s honoree:

David threw a no-hitter with two walks and 11 strikeouts to help the Middies defeat previously undefeated North Ridgeville 3-0 on Monday.

Andrew Falasco (Jr.), Avon
Batted.333 with 4 runs scored, 1 home run and 7 RBI last week. He had a walk-off double against Berea-Midpark.

Jack Hatgas (Sr.), Olmsted Falls
Batted .800 (8-for-10) with 2 runs scored, 4 walks, 6 RBI and 3 stolen bases last week.

Adam earned the win on the mound against Midview after throwing 5 shutout innings and striking out 9. He also batted .500 (3-for-6) with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 4 RBI last week.

Joey Goetz (So.), Olmsted Falls
Batted .454 (5-for-11) with a double, 2 runs scored, 2 walks and 1 RBI last week. He also had a walk-off single on Friday versus Holy Name.
