Congratulations to Avon Lake’s Maggie Williams and Berea-Midpark’s Jordan Cupach for being named this week’s Southwestern Conference Player of the Week honorees!
Maggie Williams (Sr) Avon Lake – Swimming – Williams won the 200 with a season best 2:06.1 & 500 freestyle with a season best 5:40.1. She also was a part of the winning 200 & 400 Freestyle relay teams in a victory over Avon to help keep the Shoregals undefeated in conference meets.
Jordan Cupach (Sr) Berea-Midpark – Basketball – Cupach set a new Berea-Midpark school record for three pointers in a game when he hit seven in Friday’s victory over North Olmsted.
