Avon claimed the Southwestern Conference Championship in girls golf after shooting a team score of 359 in the 2019 Southwestern Conference Girls Golf Tournament Championship at Sweetbriar Golf Club.
The Eagles were followed by Olmsted Falls who recorded a team score of 367 and Avon Lake who posted a team score of 374.
Avon’s Aiyawee Wattanavanichakornwon the indivdiual medalist award with her tournament score of 76. Sam Torres of Olmsted Falls finished in second place (84), followed by teammate Alyson Veverka and Avon’s Aubrie Rush who both scored an 87 .
