Congratulations to Katie Clute and Charlie Ciolek from Olmsted Falls for being named this week’s Southwestern Conference Player of the Week honorees!
Katie Clute (Fr) Olmsted Falls – Cross Country – Clute won the Open Door Invitational on Tuesday at Lorain County Community College. The freshman led the Bulldogs to their first invitational win with a winning time of 20:28.5. On Friday, the Bulldog freshman won the Hoka One One Postal Nationals event held at Olmsted Falls. Clute finished the race in 12:31.16.
Charlie Ciolek (So) Olmsted Falls – Football – The sophomore signal caller accounted for three touchdowns in the Bulldog’s victory over Westlake. Ciolek was three for four passing for 142 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed twice for 47 yards and a score.
