Avon Lake claimed the 2019 Southwestern Conference Girls Swimming and Diving Championship on Saturday at the Westlake City Recreation Center.
Both Avon Lake and Avon collected 321 total points throughout the two-day event, however by virtue of their head to head competition in the regular season, Avon Lake was awarded the title. Avon finished second and Westlake was third with 228.5 points. The Shoregals won five of the 12 events.
